Help Us Grow

Contribute to our expansion   

 

While our outdoor animals, garden and greenhouse programming are coming along well, we are acutely aware that our indoor workspace is deficient.  We have a beautiful three-story barn, The Grange, that is waiting to become winter workspace, to house our food processing area and woodworking shop.  

 

No contribution is too small.  Funds we receive will be allocated as follows:    

 

  • $50,000 to insulate and install a heating system.  $25,000 has been RECEIVED!   Thank you Alces Foundation!  

 

  • $30,000 for a bathroom, prep kitchen and wash sinks for the produce.  A donation of cabinets and a cooktop has been RECEIVED!  Thank you Peter and Libby Gordon! 

 

  • $15,000 for lighting and a fire alarm system

You can contribute in a variety of ways:

  • by credit card through this website 

  • by sending us a check in the mail or

  • by making a transfer of stock.  If you wish to donate stock please contact us.

High Spirit is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. Donations made directly to High Spirit, by mail or online, are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

Donate Your Old Car

 

If you think that your car may not make it through the winter, donate it to Vehicles for Charity, a division of the non-profit Metropolitan Association for Retarded Citizens. Vehicles for Charity will come tow your car for free, sell it and split the proceeds with High Spirit.  Click HERE to find out more.
